The Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing a fleet of HYG and related equipment across customer sites.

You'll focus on maximising equipment availability by diagnosing faults, carrying out effective repairs, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend customer sites to assess equipment issues, agree priorities, and carry out repairs safely
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to manage expectations on timescales and costs
  • Diagnose faults quickly and identify root causes to minimise downtime
  • Source and utilise parts in the most cost-effective way, with support from technical teams when needed
  • Ensure all work meets required engineering standards and manufacturer specifications
  • Carry out quality checks on completed work to ensure equipment is safe and fully operational
  • Identify and communicate additional repair or maintenance opportunities to customers
  • Complete all service documentation accurately and obtain required customer approvals
What We're Looking For
  • A relevant technical/engineering qualification
  • Experience in a similar field service or maintenance role
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • A customer-focused mindset with good communication skills

  • Overtime rates:
    • 1.5x Monday–Saturday
    • 2x on Sundays
