EDS Mechanical Design Engineer

Looking for a  Electrical distribution systems mechanical design Engineer for our client with a minumum of 5 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support design and development of wiring harness routing, packaging, and retention systems.
• Create and modify 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for harness components and brackets.
• Perform package feasibility studies, clash analysis, and design validation activities.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Vehicle Integration, Manufacturing, and Supplier teams.
• Support design releases, engineering changes, and documentation activities.

Skills Required:

• CATIA V5/V6 or similar CAD tools.
• Understanding of automotive wiring harness architecture and packaging.
• Knowledge of DFMEA, GD&T, and engineering change management.
• Exposure to vehicle integration and manufacturing requirements.
