Job Summary

We are looking for a Mid-Level Automation QA Engineer who is also comfortable handling Manual QA testing. The ideal candidate should be a quick learner with strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with developers, understand existing manual testing processes, and rapidly automate them using appropriate tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases.
• Analyze existing manual testing processes and identify opportunities for automation.
• Build and maintain automated test scripts and testing frameworks.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Execute manual test cases and document defects, test results, and observations.
• Work closely with developers, QA teams, and project stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Present test cases, testing approach, execution results, and defects to groups of developers and stakeholders.
• Quickly learn new testing tools, technologies, applications, and business processes.
• Participate in test planning, test execution, defect tracking, and release validation.
• Ensure adequate test coverage and maintain high-quality testing documentation.

Required Skills

• Mid-level experience in QA / Software Testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Automation Testing and Manual Testing.
• Experience creating and executing automated test scripts.
• Ability to understand and automate existing manual testing processes.
• Strong knowledge of functional and regression testing.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable presenting testing results and technical information to large developer groups.
• Ability to learn new tools, technologies, and processes quickly.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks.
• Experience with API testing and REST services.
• Knowledge of SQL/database testing.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and automated test execution pipelines.
• Programming/scripting experience in Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar languages.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a hands-on QA professional who can independently perform manual testing while also identifying opportunities to automate repetitive testing activities. They should be adaptable, technically strong, and confident enough to communicate testing results and recommendations directly to development teams.
