ROLE TITLE: Collibra Customization and Workflow Creation via Java/Groovy/BPMN

CLIENT LOCATION: 201 W. Washington Ave., Madison, WI 53703

WORK ARRANGEMENT:

o 90 100% remote from within Wisconsin.

o The candidate must be a current Wisconsin resident or relocate to Wisconsin within 30 days of the start date at the candidate's own expense.

o Onsite work is not expected to be routine, but the candidate must be prepared to report to the Madison location as needed, potentially on short notice. No dedicated onsite workspace will be assigned.

DESCRIPTION

team is seeking a Programmer-Analyst IV to help administer its data catalog through the Collibra platform. The position will customize the platform based on user and agency requirements, work closely with stakeholders to understand business process flows, translate those processes into platform workflows, and integrate or automate data movement between the cloud application and other data sources.

The position will primarily work within Collibra, using Java and configured APIs to support platform administration. Responsibilities also include user and asset setup. The current supporting technologies include Java, Java APIs, JavaScript, Eclipse, Groovy, Flowable BPMN (including Activiti and Flowable), and Python; Python is considered complementary rather than required.

Nice to have -- The ideal candidate will bring strong data governance or data management experience and a working command of data management concepts.

KEY SKILLS

User interface customization and optimization experience 5+ years.

INTERVIEW PROCESS

Interview process is expected to use Zoom or Microsoft Teams. An in-person interview may be required before final selection, and the hiring manager may elect to use phone or video interviews at any point in the process.

Interviews are expected to be scheduled shortly after the posting closes.

A real-time screenshot photo of the candidate must be uploaded to the candidate's bid when the interview is confirmed, following the "DCF Realtime Photo Requirement & Instructions" attached to the source posting.

Three business references are required for the interview; at least one must be at a supervisory level.

EQUIPMENT

The selected candidate must provide personal equipment for remote work and a mobile device for multifactor authentication. The mobile device may be subject to a DCF-only-use requirement and management through a DCF mobile-device-management system.

Home internet must provide at least 20 Mbit download and 5 Mbit upload capability, with the ability to connect the computer using a Cat 5a or better network cable.

Full audio/video conferencing capability, including a camera and headset, is required.

The candidate is expected to update and maintain the hardware so that it remains compatible with the most current Omnissa Horizon Client. Latest Omnissa Horizon Client installed.

Windows computer requirements

o A currently supported version of Windows 11.

o Minimum 8 GB memory; 16 GB or more preferred.

o 64-bit processor.

o Graphics card supporting Direct3D 11 video.

Apple computer requirements

o A currently supported version of macOS 13 or higher.

o Minimum 8 GB memory; 16 GB or more preferred.

o A 64-bit Intel-based Mac or Apple ARM M-series Mac.

o Latest Omnissa Horizon Client installed.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

The assignment is 40 hours per week on a day shift. The posting lists standard hours of 8:00 AM 5:00 PM and requires availability during Central Time core business hours of 9:00 AM 3:00 PM, or other Central Time hours defined by the hiring manager.

No travel, on-call coverage, or weekend coverage is required.

The position will not have access to Federal Tax Information (FTI).

The candidate must follow all DCF work rules, sign all required onboarding documents, and complete security training as directed by the division, department, or agency.

Security clearance requirements apply. The offer is contingent on successful completion of the required background checks, including a seven-year standard criminal background check and fingerprinting when required by the position.

The position is budgeted for 1,960 hours annually; first-year hours will be prorated based on the start date.

The selected candidate must provide copies of all applicable certifications during the hiring process.

This position will focus on customizing the platform based on user and agency requirements. They will work closely with stakeholders to understand business process flow and translate that flow into workflows within the customizable platform. They will help integrate and automate data integration between the cloud application with other data sources.

This position would primarily work within the Collibra platform utilizing Java and configuring APIs to support the administration of Collibra. This position would also be responsible for the administration of user and asset set-up within the platform.
