Frontend Developer

Job Title: Frontend Engineer

Location: Sunrise FL (3 days onsite and 2 days remote)

Duration: 5 months contract

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-quality, responsive web applications using React.js
• Translate UI/UX designs, wireframes, and prototypes into clean, efficient code
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to deliver seamless user experiences
• Create reusable and scalable component libraries
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization
• Apply modern UI/UX principles to improve usability and accessibility
• Take ownership of end-to-end UI development including design involvement
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
• Ensure adherence to best practices such as clean coding, modular architecture, and testing

 

Mandatory Skills:

• React.js (Advanced)
• Hooks, Context API, Redux/Zustand (state management)
• Functional components, lifecycle management
• Performance optimization (lazy loading, memorization)

 

• UI/UX Design Experience (MANDATORY):
• Strong understanding of design principles (Typography, color theory, spacing, layout)
• Experience with tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch
• Ability to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
• Knowledge of Design Systems and Component-driven design

 

• Front-End Technologies:
• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
• Responsive design (Flexbox, Grid)
• CSS frameworks (Tailwind, Bootstrap, Material UI)

 

• Version Control:
• Git, Git workflows

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Next.js
• Knowledge of TypeScript
• Familiarity with UI performance tuning
• Understanding of Accessibility (WCAG standards)
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology

 

Experience Required

• 8–10 years in Frontend/UI development
• At least 2–3 years of hands-on experience in UI/UX design
