Opportunity to take on a senior technical position within the engineering team<br />Varied role combining field service, technical support and mentoring duties<br />Chance to influence engineering standards and service performance<br />High level of autonomy with support from experienced management<br />Long-term career prospects within a growing specialist business Role Overview Provide technical support to field engineers, assisting with complex fault diagnosis and troubleshooting<br />Install, commission, service and repair recycling and waste machinery at customer sites<br />Diagnose and resolve electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults efficiently and safely<br />Carry out welding and fabrication repairs where required<br />Support continuous improvement initiatives, technical documentation and engineering best practices What We're Looking For Minimum five years' experience working on recycling, waste or similar industrial machinery<br />Strong electrical, hydraulic and mechanical fault-finding capabilities<br />Welding experience is essential, with a practical hands-on approach<br />Previous experience supporting, mentoring or coaching engineers is advantageous<br />Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide Desirable Experience Fabrication experience<br />Forklift Truck Licence<br />Experience with balers, compactors or related equipment<br />Development of engineering procedures or technical documentation<br />Continuous improvement or process development experience Work Location Home-based field service position<br />Covering customer sites nationwide<br />Occasional travel to company facilities for meetings and training<br />Mixture of installations, planned maintenance and breakdown work<br />Regular travel as part of day-to-day responsibilitiesThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer to step into a senior technical role within a specialist engineering business, combining hands-on engineering responsibilities with technical leadership and support across a nationwide customer base.
