Graduate Teaching Assistant – Birmingham
Are you a recent graduate eager to gain practical experience in a school before embarking on a career in teaching? Are you passionate about working with children and looking to gain additional experience? Have you considered a career working with Special Educational Needs?
*** Graduate Teaching Assistant *** £90 - £100 Per day *** September 2026 until July 2027 *** Outstanding SEND School *** Supporting Students with Autism and associated needs
The Role As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with class teachers
and TA’s to support learning across Key Stage 3 & 4. You will assist in delivering engaging lessons, run small group interventions, and provide one-to-one support to students who have additional learning need including Autism, Asperger’s and
Down’s Syndrome. This is a hands-on role where you will be able to build strong relationships professional with children and play a key part in their academic and personal development.
The Candidate This role is perfect for a recent graduate who is passionate about education or Special Educational Needs and looking to gain school-based experience. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to get involved in all aspects of school life are essential. Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
