M&A Manager Nottingham Office-Based Up to £80,000 + BenefitsAre you looking to play a key role in shaping the growth strategy of a fast-paced, acquisitive business?This is an exceptional opportunity to join a private equity-backed technology business that has achieved impressive growth through acquisition and continues to invest heavily in expanding its portfolio. Working directly with the senior leadership team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the company's acquisition-led growth strategy, taking opportunities from initial identification through to completion and successful integration into the wider business.Whether you're already operating within an in-house M&A function, or you're looking to make your first move from Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, Deals Advisory, Investment Banking or a leading Corporate Finance boutique, this role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile strategic projects, influence key business decisions and play a visible role in the company's continued growth journey. The Opportunity Joining at an exciting stage of growth, you'll play a key role in helping the business identify, assess and capitalise on strategic opportunities that support its long-term expansion plans. You'll be involved in a broad range of commercial and strategic initiatives, including:
- Identifying and evaluating business growth opportunities.
- Researching markets, sectors and potential acquisition targets.
- Building relationships with business owners, advisers and key stakeholders.
- Analysing business performance, commercial opportunities and investment cases.
- Supporting negotiations and helping drive opportunities through the full transaction lifecycle.
- Coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful execution and completion of strategic transactions.
- Producing insightful analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment.
- Preparing presentations and reports for senior stakeholders.
- Supporting the transition and onboarding of completed acquisitions into the wider business.
- Supporting strategic projects that contribute to both acquisitive and organic growth.

- Experience supporting or leading live transactions.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities.

- ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or equivalent (desirable but not essential).
- Salary up to £80,000 depending on experience.
- Direct exposure to senior leadership and strategic decision-making.

- Significant deal flow and transaction activity.
