Job Description

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Architect to join a progressive and multidisciplinary architecture and engineering firm based in Livingston, New Jersey. This role is ideal for a design-focused professional with strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and a passion for delivering high-quality architectural solutions across diverse project types.

The successful candidate will lead architectural projects from concept through construction administration while collaborating closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal engineering teams. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of complex projects while contributing to a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include leading architectural design and documentation efforts, preparing and overseeing construction drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with applicable building codes and regulations, coordinating multidisciplinary project teams, mentoring junior staff, and participating in client engagement and project presentations.

  • Registered Architect (RA) license required
  • 10–15 years of architectural design and project management experience
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, construction documentation, and project delivery processes
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Strong communication, leadership, and client relationship skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
  • Proficiency in industry-standard architectural software and design tools
