Position Overview

Primary responsibilities include developing and executing functional and integration test plans for all components owned by the Software Platform group.

• Automated test execution is a critical component of coverage
• Requires working knowledge of Python scripting
• Candidate will work within a high-performing team environment
• Encouraged to contribute ideas and solutions daily

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze product requirements
• Collaborate cross-functionally to:
  • Design test plans
  • Develop test setups for multi-domain software solutions
• Develop test automation
• Perform test failure analysis
• Conduct test coverage analysis

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in:
  • Computer Science
  • Mathematics
  • Engineering
  • or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in software testing on:
  • Embedded systems
  • Mobile platforms
  • Consumer electronics
• Experience with test automation in Python

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing embedded operating systems using:
  • Python
  • Slash
  • FordSIM (ECU model)
• Automotive testing experience
• Familiarity with Agile development processes
• Experience using JIRA
• Strong soft skills:
  • Ability to prioritize work
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication
• Additional tools/technologies:
  • Python (Slash)
  • TestRail
  • Jenkins
  • Jira
  • Python-based test automation frameworks
