Systems Engineer

The Opportunity

Revo is growing fast, and we're bringing on a new Systems Engineer to support that growth. You'll build strong foundations across our environments, mentor the team, and help shape how we do things. If you're someone who takes initiative and wants to make a real impact, this is the role for you.

What will you be doing?

• Design and propose fit-for-purpose modifications to the baseline system architecture
• Manage the installed infrastructure, including configuring and installing back-end systems such as (virtual) servers, firewalls and switches.
• Monitor systems for availability and performance, and maintain security and data protection initiatives.
• Manage environment updates through Change and Problem Management processes
• Document ICT systems (design, implementation and support) and equip First and Second-Level support to manage the backend environments through training and documentations
• Own the New Club Rollout Guidelines and ensure they are constantly reviewed and updated, working with the service delivery team when we have new club openings

What are we looking for in you?

• Demonstrated experience as a system engineer (level 3) with a minimum of 1 year in the role
• Experience with back-end infrastructure such as servers, firewalls and switches, ideally with Azure or Cisco CCNA,
• Solid understanding of security and compliance frameworks (Essential 8, ISO 27001, PCI DSS) is desirable
• Strong time management skills with the ability to work autonomously and take initiative
• Interest in mentoring and junior team members, with the communication skills to explain technical concepts and answer questions clearly.
• Comfortable with documentation and process, and motivated to bring environments up to best-practice standards, identify improvements as needed
• Be willing to travel out to site or interstate as needed
