Part-Time Legal Assistant
Location: Solihull Hours: 20 hours per week (Part-time) Salary: £12.71 per hour Permanent
About the Role We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Part-Time Legal Assistant to join our team in Solihull. This role would suit someone with a strong legal background, ideally a candidate with a minimum 2:1 law degree and previous experience working within a legal environment.
You will provide administrative and client support, helping to ensure enquiries are progressed efficiently, clients are kept informed, and the team receives high-quality assistance with day-to-day legal tasks.
Key Responsibilities Manage and follow up on outstanding client enquiries and requests
Keep clients updated with progress and provide excellent customer service
Prepare routine legal documents and correspondence
Provide administrative support to the wider legal team
Maintain accurate records and ensure files are kept organised
Assist with general office and case management tasks
Use technology and digital systems effectively to support daily workflows
Skills and Experience Required Legal knowledge or a background working in the legal sector
Ideally a 2:1 law degree or equivalent legal qualification/experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
Confident using IT systems and legal software
Professional, reliable, and client-focused approach
