DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Development Project Lead to join our dynamic software development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building Developer Experience Portals and will play a crucial role in enhancing our product offerings. This position requires a deep understanding of developer tools and workflows, with a focus on creating seamless experiences for developers. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving adoption and engagement with our developer portal.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Developer Experience Portals to facilitate efficient workflows for developers.
Implement CLI tools and service scaffolding to streamline development processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Utilize CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins to automate deployment processes.
Manage cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability and reliability of developer tools.
Engage with developers to gather feedback and continuously improve the developer experience.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software development and DevOps.
Mandatory Skills:

Proven experience in building Developer Experience Portals, with a focus on user engagement and adoption.
Strong proficiency in CLI tools and service scaffolding.
Expertise in CI/CD tools, particularly GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and deployment strategies.
Strong coding skills in languages such as Python, Java, or TypeScript.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with developer portals like Backstage.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Understanding of microservices architecture.
Qualifications:

Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Strong portfolio demonstrating previous work on developer experience projects.
Proven track record of successful project delivery in a software development environment.
