Job Description

PSR Solutions are working with a market leading client within the Residential Groundworks Sector to recruit a Site Engineer to Join their Production team on a permanent basis. This role will cover projects across the Cambridgeshire Region.

Site Engineer Roles and Responsibilities Ensure the latest approved drawings, specifications and setting out information are always used.<br />Verify all design information including coordinates, levels and site control data prior to setting out.<br />Identify, report and resolve discrepancies in design information in conjunction with the Technical Department and project teams.<br />Carry out accurate setting out of works including foundations, drainage, roads, structures and associated infrastructure.<br />Independently check all setting out prior to release to site teams.<br />Undertake engineering self-checks and validation of works during and after installation.<br />Maintain robust engineering records including site notes, survey data, as-built information and supporting documentation.<br />Ensure engineering data is stored, backed up and communicated clearly for site and project use.<br />Ensure all survey and setting out equipment is correctly maintained, calibrated and stored.<br />Use GPS, total stations and surveying instruments competently in line with company procedures.<br />Provide clear and practical engineering guidance to site teams based on design intent and site conditions.<br />Liaise effectively with Contracts Managers, Project Managers, Foremen, Clients and the Technical Department.<br />Coordinate engineering requirements across multiple sites where required.<br />Respond to site queries and urgent engineering requirements in a timely manner.<br />Support planning and allocation of engineering resources to maintain site progress.<br />Maintain professional standards when representing the company on site.<br />Ensure compliance with company Health &amp; Safety policies and procedures at all times.<br />Support the completion and review of RAMS, permits and method statements where required.Site Engineer Requirements General education equivalent to A Levels.<br />Relevant engineering or construction qualification.<br />Valid CSCS card.<br />Further civil engineering qualifications (HNC/HND or above)<br />Strong understanding of civil engineering and groundworks methods.<br />Knowledge of setting out principles.<br />Awareness of Health &amp; Safety requirements<br />Knowledge of technical equipment required for the role.<br />Experience in civil engineering or groundworks.<br />High level of accuracy and attention to detail.<br />Strong numerical and problem-solving ability.<br />Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.<br />Good communication skills.<br />Reliable, self-motivated and professional.<br />Strong work ethic.<br />Ability to work independently and as part of a team; calm and practical approach to problem solving.<br />Full UK driving licence.Site Engineer Benefits Salary - £40,000 - £70,000 DOE<br />Company Vehicle &amp; Fuel Card<br />Discretional Bonus<br />Long service payments<br />Annual leave 23 days excluding bank holidaysIf you are interested in this Site Engineer role, please apply or contact Jack Brown at PSR Solutions
