SC Cleared Lead Architect – Cloud, AI & Analytics Platforms

SC Cleared Lead Architect / Inside IR35/ Remote / 6 Month Contract We’re looking for an experienced Lead Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale cloud, analytics, and AI platforms.

This is a strategic architecture role where you’ll define end-to-end solutions across AWS, Azure, and on-premise environments, driving modernisation, scalability, security, and performance.

You’ll play a key role in architecting advanced analytics platforms using AWS SageMaker, Azure Machine Learning, and SAS 9.4/Viya, including leading SAS Viya migration and transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end solution architecture across AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments.<br />Design scalable, secure, and resilient analytics and AI platforms.<br />Drive SAS 9.4 to SAS Viya migration and platform modernisation.<br />Architect machine learning solutions using AWS SageMaker and Azure Machine Learning.<br />Define data platform architecture, analytics pipelines, and enterprise integration patterns.<br />Collaborate with engineering teams to implement CI/CD and MLOps best practices.<br />Provide technical leadership, governance, and architectural guidance to stakeholders and delivery teams.Essential Skills Strong enterprise architecture experience across AWS, Azure, and hybrid/on-premise environments.<br />Hands-on experience with AWS SageMaker and Azure Machine Learning.<br />Proven expertise with SAS 9.4, SAS Viya, and SAS migration programmes.<br />Experience designing hosted or managed analytics platforms.<br />Strong knowledge of solution architecture frameworks (TOGAF or equivalent).<br />Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, APIs, microservices, and modern cloud architectures.<br />Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.<br />If you are interested in this role, please apply or email your latest CV to (url removed) ASAP!
