Lead Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

We are seeking a Lead SDET to build and scale a robotics software testing organization. The ideal candidate will design test strategies, architect automation frameworks, and drive quality engineering across robotics platforms using AI-powered tools and cloud-based CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end testing strategy across HIL, SIL, simulation, and system validation.
• Design and develop scalable automation frameworks from the ground up.
• Test and debug complex robotics systems involving software, hardware, and sensors.
• Leverage AI coding assistants and LLM tools to accelerate automation development.
• Build and maintain AWS-based CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and simulation.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, robotics, and DevOps teams.

Required Skills:

• Strong SDET / QA Automation experience with robotics platforms.
• Hands-on experience with ROS/ROS2, Python, Linux, and simulation environments.
• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Expertise in HIL/SIL testing and hardware-software validation.
• Strong AWS DevOps experience (CodePipeline, CodeBuild, ECS).
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, LLM tools).
