Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Healthcare Solutions Architect with 8+ years of experience delivering large-scale enterprise software solutions and cloud optimization projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the US healthcare industry, preferably with experience in Pharmacy or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) transactional systems.

The candidate will design secure, scalable, and compliant enterprise architectures, ensuring appropriate data segregation in multi-tenant environments and alignment with HIPAA Security Rule requirements and Federal security authorization boundaries. This role requires close collaboration with Technology, Security, Compliance, and Business teams to integrate regulatory requirements into application, data, and infrastructure designs.

The candidate must also demonstrate proficiency in enterprise-approved AI tools and use them to improve productivity, documentation, analysis, and delivery quality.

Key Responsibilities

1. Enterprise Solutions Architecture

• Design end-to-end technical architectures and architectural blueprints for enterprise software implementations and cloud optimization initiatives.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
• Evaluate existing architectures and recommend improvements to security, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Document architecture decisions, system integrations, dependencies, risks, and technical specifications.

2. Healthcare Domain and Compliance

• Apply knowledge of the US healthcare ecosystem, preferably including Pharmacy or PBM transactional systems.
• Design solutions aligned with the HIPAA Security Rule and applicable Federal and State compliance requirements.
• Incorporate security, privacy, and regulatory controls into application, data, and infrastructure designs from the outset.
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to address regulatory requirements and architecture risks.

3. Multi-Tenant Architecture and System Boundaries

• Design multi-tenant solutions that enforce strict data segregation and isolation between clients.
• Define technical system boundaries to protect sensitive healthcare information and government client workloads.
• Identify system components, data flows, integrations, and infrastructure resources within applicable security authorization boundaries.
• Ensure architecture designs address access control, data protection, workload isolation, and secure integrations.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Technology, Information Security, Compliance, and Business teams to align architecture with business objectives and regulatory mandates.
• Participate in architecture reviews, communicate design decisions, and resolve technical and security concerns.
• Support the development and validation of architecture documentation and compliance-related design specifications.

5. AI Tools and Productivity

• Maintain a minimum of 90% weekly usage of enterprise-approved AI tools, as required by the engagement.
• Use tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and other approved GenAI platforms to support documentation, research, data analysis, and coding-related workflows.
• Validate AI-generated outputs and follow enterprise security, privacy, and data-handling policies.
• Stay current with evolving AI capabilities and apply them to improve delivery quality and productivity.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 8+ years of Solutions Architecture experience delivering large-scale enterprise software or cloud optimization projects.
• Deep understanding of the US healthcare sector.
• Strong working knowledge of designing systems compliant with the HIPAA Security Rule.
• Understanding of Federal security authorization boundaries and compliance-driven system design.
• Strong architectural design, analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical, security, compliance, and business stakeholders.
• Baseline proficiency with enterprise-approved AI tools and willingness to incorporate them into daily workflows.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Experience with Pharmacy or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) transactional systems.
• Experience designing secure, multi-tenant enterprise architectures with strict data segregation.
• Familiarity with cloud architecture, application security, infrastructure design, and data protection.
• Experience incorporating Federal and State compliance requirements into technical designs.
• Experience defining system boundaries and isolating government client workloads.
• Experience using AI-assisted tools to improve documentation, analysis, and delivery efficiency.

A Senior Solutions Architect with 8+ years of enterprise architecture experience, strong US healthcare knowledge, and expertise in security-focused solution design. Candidates with Pharmacy/PBM experience, HIPAA compliance knowledge, multi-tenant architecture expertise, and experience protecting government workloads are strongly preferred.
