Senior Associate, Quality Assurance

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Senior Associate, Quality Assurance for an Onsite position with a Major Pharmaceutical Company located in Thousand Oaks, CA. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.

This role provides real-time, floor-based QA support for commercial drug substance production. The position involves cleanroom oversight, batch record review, and acting as a QA liaison during manufacturing and facility events. This fully onsite role requires working rotating day and swing shifts every six months.

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily support and compliance oversight to Manufacturing and Facilities & Engineering areas
• Maintain a purposeful presence on the manufacturing floor
• Perform electronic batch record review
• Handle SOP revision and approval
• Approve work orders and minor deviations
• Evaluate compliance issues, provide recommendations, and ensure progress of quality records to completion

Requirements:

• High school/GED with 2+ years of work experience, OR an Associate's degree with 6+ months of work experience, OR a Bachelor's degree
• Hands-on QA or manufacturing experience in a GMP environment
• Self-driven and able to work independently
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Desired skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, or a related science field
• Demonstrated ability to perform GMP operations including following detailed SOPs, maintaining training, and good documentation practices
• Ability to make quality-based decisions to ensure compliance
• Experience managing projects through to completion and meeting timelines
• Experience working with Quality Systems
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks at one time

Pay range: up to $34.02 per hour
