  • Experience designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing or developing applications using microservices architectures.
  • Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Senior Full Stack .NET Developer

Washington, DC | Full-Time Onsite | Contract

Client is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack .NET Developer to support a high-profile federal financial services environment in Washington, DC. This role will contribute across the full application development lifecycle, building and maintaining enterprise web applications using a modern Microsoft and Angular technology stack.

The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on experience with .NET 8, C#, Core Web API, Angular 16+, Entity Framework Core, and SQL Server and is comfortable working across database, API, service, and front-end layers. This individual will collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders within a fast-paced Agile development environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain components across the full application technology stack.
  • Develop enterprise web applications using C#, .NET 8, Core, and Angular.
  • Design and maintain SQL Server database schemas, stored procedures, and efficient SQL queries.
  • Develop secure, scalable RESTful APIs and application/service integrations.
  • Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces using Angular 16 or later.
  • Use Entity Framework Core to support application data access and persistence.
  • Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested application code.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues spanning front-end, application, API, and database layers.
  • Participate in peer code reviews, application testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into effective software solutions.
  • Follow established source control and CI/CD practices using Git, GitLab, and related development tools.
  • Participate actively in Agile development activities and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.

  • Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and development assignments.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and technical environments.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Ability to work full-time onsite in Washington, DC is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing or developing applications using microservices architectures.
  • Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience implementing applications or services within a cloud platform.
  • Strong experience with unit testing frameworks and automated testing practices.
  • Experience working with enterprise CI/CD pipelines and automated application deployment.
