AIX Specialist

Role: AIX Specialist

Location: Remote

Long Term contract

Note : AIX person who can code at kernel/driver/file system level

Skillset needed:

Must know advanced IBM Power Series file encryption and access-control features and coding within Linux to IBM AIX 7.3 on POWER.

Required skills

- Production experience developing and shipping AIX kernel extensions

- AIX VFS and vnode layer, kernel memory management and locking, JFS2 behaviour

- Kernel debugging with kdb and system dumps

- Strong C and C++ development on AIX, including Open XL C/C++ and the XCOFF linking model

- Big-endian portability

- Building third-party libraries from source on platforms

- AIX packaging and operational integration: installp filesets, SRC-managed daemons, boot-load ordering, error reporting
