The Role • Take ownership of plant-specific rough planning, prioritizing, and scheduling production orders while considering deadlines, capacities, and order backlog. • Define, plan, and monitor the implementation of work orders on a cost center basis within the production area. • Manage inventory levels for in-house manufactured parts and develop strategic stocking concepts (minimum and safety stock). • Set, maintain, and coordinate disposition parameters for in-house manufactured components closely with production planning. • Participate in the change and complaint process, liaising closely with material control and production. • Create, monitor, and adjust production master schedules and support cross-site capacity and order planning. • Attend shop floor meetings and report on the status of your areas of responsibility. What You'll Need • Completed technical or commercial apprenticeship, ideally supplemented by further education or a degree in production planning, manufacturing control, or supply chain management. • Several years of experience in cross-plant production planning and control. • Proficient knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP), with APS knowledge being desirable. • An analytical, structured, and forward-thinking approach, even under high pressure. • Strong communication and coordination skills, with a confident demeanor when dealing with various stakeholders. • Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
