Engineering Technician

Job Title: Engineering Technician
Client: Aerospace Industry
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Oldsmar, FL 34677
Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support to shop floor operations
Work with operations lead, operators, engineers, and maintenance teams
Improve throughput and quality in grinding department
Develop OEE tracking and reporting
Reduce scrap and rework through process control
Minimize turnaround time and inventory
Reduce changeover times and batch sizes
Improve 5S score in department
Measure and improve OEE with 85% target
Assist in training new operators
Develop operator training programs

Must Have
Ability to speak and listen effectively in English
Ability to read and understand written instructions
Ability to write complete sentences in English
Ability to follow verbal and written directions

Nice to Have
Experience in manufacturing or aerospace environment
Experience with continuous improvement or OEE tracking
Experience working with shop floor teams
