Application Security or Security Engineer / Philadelphia

A global food facilities and management company is looking for an Application Security Engineer or a Software Engineer with a security mindset, to join their team. You'll be working in a new application security environment, helping build out their appsec program. Candidates must have strong development skills and will work with development teams to ensure SAST/DAST is implemented correctly, help teams understand security findings and fix them. You'll work with Azure and Google Cloud Platform, as well as Github, Azure DevOps, and conduct code reviews in Python, JavaScript, and Rust.

This role is 2 days onsite in Philadelphia, 3 days work from home.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in application security, devsecops, or security engineering
• Ability to code in Python, JavaScript, and/or Rust
• Experience or familiarity with SAST/DAST
• Experience helping build an appsec program or working with developer teams to understand and champion application security
