Project Manager in Atlanta, GA

IT Applications Project Manager (PM) will lead and manage multiple internal and external end-to-end IT applications and software projects, documentation, and processes while reinforcing defined infrastructure and software best practices. The PM will drive process improvement, documentation management, and project governance to ensure follow-through, timeliness, and accuracy across the project portfolio. This role requires 5+ years of experience managing software and IT applications projects, with demonstrated proficiency in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Must be able to run large projects with minimal oversight.

Experience:
•    5+ years of project management experience specifically with software development or IT applications.
•    Experience with both Waterfall and Agile (Scrum/Kanban) methodologies in a hybrid delivery environment.
•    Proficiency with MS Project or Project Online for schedule development and management.
•    Highly proficient in writing, editing, and follow-through
•    Experience reading contractual documentation and extracting project scope, deliverables, and compliance obligations
•    Some relevant college experience or applicable certifications (preferred) or college degree (preferred)
 
Preferred:
•    PMP, CAPM, or equivalent certification preferred
•    College Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or Computer Science
