Genus Infrastructure is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Delivery Manager based in Melbourne.

About the Role

We are looking for a Delivery Manager to manage, plan and lead the operational activities of our Delivery Group. If you're a results-driven leader with a proven track record in construction or utility infrastructure, this is your chance to deliver meaningful impact while aligning with a company that places Safety, Integrity, Innovation, Mateship and Collaboration at the heart of everything we do. This position is based in our Dandenong South Depot, working Monday to Friday. This is a leadership-focused position requiring a strong commitment to safety, stakeholder engagement, and project performance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control activities to achieve cost, time and quality requirements.
• Communicate, liaise and negotiate with customers, Supervisors and Project Manager to achieve high customer service.
• Understand, monitor, maintain and promote the company's safety requirements, environmental, health and safety procedures.
• Precise communication, ensuring understanding of the scope of works and construction schedule at handover.
• Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
• Knowledge of all jobs to ensure resources deliver as per the requirements of the scope of works.
• Assist with client communication during construction phase.
• Assist delivery group to maintain and provide work completion documentation.
• Involvement of technical consultation during quoting stage.
• Identification, assistance and management of audit requirements.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in a similar role.
• Certificate III in ESI Distribution Overhead.
• Knowledge of the Victorian Electrical Network.
• Experience in managing subcontractors and liaising with clients.
• Effective team management and leadership skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise, delegate, schedule, and plan.
• Ability to operate autonomously while thriving in a collaborative team setting.
• Proficiency in handling high-pressure situations with meticulous attention to detail.
