Audit Senior Associate - Future Opportunities

Experience Level: Mid-Level


Overview

The Audit Senior Associate plays a lead role in executing audit engagements, supervising staff, and coordinating day-to-day engagement activities. This role requires strong technical skills, project management capability, and the ability to mentor junior team members.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead audit engagements from planning through completion in accordance with U.S. GAAP and GAAS
  • Perform and review audit procedures, including controls testing, substantive testing, and analytical procedures
  • Coordinate daily engagement activities, including planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up
  • Review workpapers prepared by staff and provide constructive feedback
  • Mentor and supervise audit associates
  • Communicate effectively with U.S.-based managers and team members


Skills Required

  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and technical proficiency
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to high-quality client service


Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of audit experience in a public accounting firm preferred
  • Nonprofit audit experience is a plus
  • CA/CPA preferred but not required
  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and audit methodologies
  • Experience supporting U.S.-based audit teams
