Solution Architect (Payments & Cards)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect – Payments & Cards to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance payment solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in payment processing, card technologies, microservices architecture, and Java/Spring Boot-based application development. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, product owners, engineering teams, and enterprise architects to deliver innovative payment solutions that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end architecture for Payments and Cards platforms, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
• Define solution architecture for card issuing, acquiring, payment processing, and digital payment ecosystems.
• Lead the design and implementation of microservices-based applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with business, product, and engineering teams to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop architecture roadmaps, technical standards, and best practices for payment applications.
• Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, security standards, and industry regulations.
• Design APIs and integration frameworks with payment gateways, banking systems, and third-party services.
• Provide architectural guidance during application modernization and data migration initiatives.
• Review solution designs, conduct architecture assessments, and recommend improvements.
• Mentor development teams on architecture principles, coding standards, and design patterns.
• Support production deployments, troubleshoot critical issues, and optimize application performance.
• Participate in technical governance, design reviews, and architecture forums.
