Trade Parts Sales Manager

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Motorcycle Trade Parts Sales Manager, based in Park Royal, North West London. This role offers a unique opportunity for an experienced sales professional to lead and develop a thriving motorcycle parts trade department within a dynamic SME environment.

The successful individual will be responsible for managing and motivating a dedicated sales team, establishing structured sales processes, and driving growth across trade, retail, and online channels. Duties of the Trade Parts Sales Manager:

• Lead and manage the motorcycle parts sales team, setting targets and standards
• Develop and implement scalable, structured sales processes across multiple channels
• Monitor and review team performance through KPIs, providing coaching and support
• Manage sales pipelines effectively using CRM systems, ensuring accurate records
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of sales staff
• Address performance and conduct issues professionally, implementing improvement plans
• Work closely with directors to develop actionable sales strategies aligned with business goals
• Support the team in hands-on sales activities to drive growth
• Build and refine processes to increase revenue, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with employment law during disciplinary and performance management procedures

Requirements of the Trade Parts Sales Manager:

• Proven experience as a sales manager or team leader within motor trade, automotive parts, or related sectors
• Demonstrable success in managing underperforming sales teams and turning results around
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills, capable of managing team performance
• Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Zoho for pipeline management and reporting
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on SME environment
• Automotive, motor trade, or parts distribution experience is highly advantageous
• Familiarity with online sales channels such as eBay and Shopify is desirable
• Knowledge of HR practices related to disciplinary procedures and PIPs is beneficial
