Detailed Job Description:

Experience: 10+ years overall, with 5+ years in distributed systems, workflow orchestration, or cloud-native architecture.

Key Skills:

• Strong expertise in Temporal.io (workflow design, activities, task queues, workers, retries, timeouts, signals, queries, versioning)
• Distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architecture, Saga patterns, resiliency, and long-running workflows
• Hands-on with Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, C#, or PHP
• Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform), Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD
• REST/gRPC APIs, messaging platforms, observability, monitoring, logging
• Production readiness: security, scalability, reliability, performance, and operations
• Architecture workshops, solution design, technical consulting, and stakeholder management

Good to Have:

• Experience with BPM/workflow platforms (Pega, Appian, IBM BPM, Camunda)
• Legacy BPMS migration to Temporal
• Presales, POCs, solutioning, and estimation
• Temporal Cloud/certification, cloud certifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess applications for Temporal adoption and modernization
• Design end-to-end Temporal architecture and integration patterns
• Build POCs and guide development using Temporal SDKs
• Define production-ready architecture (security, observability, scalability)
• Lead migration planning, technical risk assessment, and architecture reviews
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, QA, and customer stakeholders
• Create reusable architecture standards and enablement assets
• Support customer adoption and resolve complex technical challenges
