Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong full stack capability, especially in backend development, to join our growing engineering team. This role focuses on delivering end to end solutions across the full software development lifecycle and enhancing and scaling backend systems. You will work with modern technologies including AI, contribute to high quality enterprise grade software solutions, and have opportunities to grow into technical or people leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and unit test applications in line with established engineering standards.
• Deliver end to end development across the full SDLC.
• Build, enhance and scale backend services and platforms.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, DevOps, QA and wider business stakeholders.
• Contribute to system design, performance optimisation and technical problem solving.
• Take ownership of requirements arising from Scrum ceremonies.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to a strong, collaborative engineering culture.

Qualifications

• Strong full stack development experience with a clear backend focus.
• Experience delivering end to end software solutions across the SDLC.
• Open minded and willing to experiment with new technologies, particularly AI.
• Interest in leveraging AI to improve development efficiency and delivery outcomes.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non technical teams.
• Collaborative team player who contributes positively to team culture.

Technical skills and experience

• Strong experience with .NET / C# and modern web technologies.
• Experience building APIs and backend services.
• Strong SQL and relational database experience.
• Experience working in Agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices.
