Job Description

Job Title: Data Engineer
Des Moines, Iowa
 
We are seeking a Data Engineer to build scalable, cloud-native data systems and automated pipelines. This role focuses on implementing serverless workflows and building the foundational backend infrastructure to support our data ecosystem.
This is a local position in 
Key Responsibilities
  • ETL Pipelines: Design, build, and maintain automated ETL workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
  • Serverless Development: Write efficient, clean backend logic in Python using AWS Lambda.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure cleanly using AWS CDK.
  • API Integration: Build and connect secure RESTful APIs to facilitate data movement and access across systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong proficiency in Python and standard data handling practices.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda and serverless architecture.
  • Proven experience using AWS CDK for infrastructure deployment.
  • Practical experience building data pipelines and managing ETL processes.
