About TBL Digital

TBL Digital is a Toronto-based performance marketing and creative agency specializing in restaurants, hospitality, and food brands across Canada. We run Google Ads, Meta Ads, local SEO, content production, and social media management for some of the Greater Toronto Area's fastest-growing food businesses.

We're founder-led and growing. This is our first dedicated sales hire - you'll build the outbound engine from the ground up and work directly with the Founder every week.


The Role

You'll carry two clear mandates:

1. Own our SMB engine. Find, contact, qualify, and pitch independent restaurants and food businesses across the GTA for our core growth retainers. You run each deal to the proposal stage; the Founder joins for final pricing and close. You earn 10% commission on every retainer you source.

2. Feed our strategic pipeline. Research and map larger accounts - multi-location restaurant groups, franchise brands, hospitality chains, and food/CPG companies - and book qualified meetings for the Founder, who leads those conversations. You earn 10% commission on any strategic account that closes from a meeting you sourced.

This is a phone-first, high-activity sales job run on a North American schedule. If you're looking for a research-only or email-only role, this isn't it.


What You'll Do
  • Build and enrich target lists of owners, GMs, and marketing decision-makers using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Google Maps, and Instagram
  • Run personalized, multi-channel outbound: cold calls, email sequences, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and Instagram DMs - quality over volume, compliant with Canadian anti-spam law (CASL); training provided
  • Qualify prospects on budget, authority, need, and timing; disqualify fast and keep the pipeline honest
  • Run discovery calls and present TBL's capabilities deck and case studies on SMB opportunities
  • Map stakeholders at multi-location groups and franchise brands, and book qualified meetings directly onto the Founder's calendar
  • Keep the CRM clean - every touch logged, every deal staged - and deliver a weekly pipeline report every Friday

  • Monthly Targets (from Month 1)
    • 12-15 qualified SMB discovery calls booked per month
    • 8+ proposal-stage SMB opportunities per month
    • 3-5 qualified strategic-account meetings booked for the Founder per month

  • What We're Looking For
    • 2-5 years of B2B sales or business development experience - agency, marketing services, SaaS, or selling to SMB owners
    • Experience selling into North American or other international markets strongly preferred
    • Excellent spoken and written English; fluent Hindi is a major asset (a large share of our market is South Asian restaurant owners)
    • Genuinely comfortable making cold calls - this is non-negotiable
    • Working knowledge of digital marketing (Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, social media) - enough to hold a credible conversation with a business owner
    • Hands-on with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, a lead database (Apollo, Lusha, or similar), a CRM, and email outreach tools
    • Committed to a full North American workday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Eastern Time (roughly 6:30 PM - 2:30 AM IST; one hour later in winter). This is a night-shift role - prior experience working US/Canada hours is strongly preferred

  • Compensation
    • Base: 25000/month depending on experience (full-time independent contractor engagement, paid monthly)
    • Commission: 10% of revenue on every closed deal you source - SMB retainers and strategic accounts alike
    • A single closed strategic account can pay out several months of base salary in one commission
