This is a unique opportunity to combine fraud investigations, advanced analytics and fraud technology in a role that directly influences customer protection and business performance.
You'll work with the Accertify platform to identify emerging fraud trends, optimise detection strategies, investigate complex fraud incidents, and deliver insights that shape how we respond to evolving threats.
You'll partner with teams across multiple teams including Digital, Customer Service and Finance, turning data into actionable recommendations that reduce fraud losses while maintaining a seamless customer experience.
From analysing transaction patterns and refining fraud rules to managing chargebacks and supporting major trading events, no two days will be the same.

This is a 12-month fixed term opportunity. Seeking the successful applicant to start by Mid-October.
What you'll be doing
- Administering, configuring and optimising the Accertify fraud prevention platform.
- Analysing transaction data and risk signals to identify fraud trends and emerging threats.
- Developing and enhancing fraud rules, risk scoring models and automation capabilities.
- Investigating payment fraud, account takeovers, and refund or returns abuse cases.
- Managing chargeback and dispute processes to minimise losses.
- Building fraud dashboards and delivering insights to support business decisions.
- Partnering with Payments, Digital, Customer Service, Finance and external vendors to strengthen fraud controls.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives that balance fraud prevention with customer experience.
To be successful in this role you'll have:
- 3-5+ years' experience in data analytics.
- Hands-on experience with ecommerce fraud platforms (Accertify experience beneficial but not mandatory).
- Strong analytical skills with experience working with large datasets.
- Experience optimising fraud rules and investigations to reduce losses and false positives.
- Knowledge of chargeback management and fraud investigation processes.
