Automation & Manual Engineer

• 3 or more years of experience in software quality assurance across manual and automated testing frameworks.
• Proficiency in test automation design, execution, and converting manual tests into automated suites.
• Experience with defect tracking, test case management, and sprint backlog tracking in Jira.
• Experience in relational database validation and backend query verification using Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with regression testing, smoke testing, and acceptance testing in Agile Scrum environments.
• Experience in human capital management (HCM), payroll platform testing, or enterprise software ecosystems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Execute a balanced portfolio of automated and manual test scripts to validate system functionality.
• Build automated testing routines to replace manual processes and accelerate release verification.
• Author, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases, acceptance criteria, and regression test suites.
• Validate backend data integrity by executing targeted SQL queries against relational databases.
• Track and manage software defect lifecycles through resolution within Jira tracking workflows.
• Collaborate with product owners and software engineers during story analysis to establish quality benchmarks.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
