Senior Frontend Developer

React | Next.js | TypeScript | Bristol | £70,000-£80,000

A growing software business is looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join its engineering team as it continues to invest in its platform and technical capability.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building modern web applications, solving technical problems and contributing to architectural decisions within a collaborative engineering environment.

The role

You'll work alongside Product, Design and Engineering teams to develop and improve web applications using React, Next.js and TypeScript.

You'll also contribute to frontend architecture, help improve code quality and support the development of other engineers through collaboration and code reviews.

Experience we're looking for

• Strong commercial experience with React and TypeScript
• Experience building applications with Next.js
• Good understanding of modern frontend architecture
• Experience with state management libraries
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, Playwright or Cypress
• Experience working with REST APIs
• Comfortable working within an Agile development environment

Any experience with Node.js, design systems or cloud technologies would be beneficial but isn't essential.
