This prominent government contractor is seeking a seasoned Firewall Engineer to join a critical cybersecurity team. The Role • Design, implement, and manage firewall solutions using Cisco ASA/Firepower, Juniper SRX, and Palo Alto. • Monitor firewall performance and security logs to identify and mitigate potential threats. • Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures. • Perform system audits to ensure compliance with standards and regulations. • Collaborate with IT, Security, and Network teams to integrate firewall solutions. • Serve as a People Leader, guiding a team responsible for firewall operations, projects, and assessments.

What You'll Need • Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of directly relevant experience (additional military or work experience may substitute for a degree). • 3+ years of Firewall experience within the DoD environment. • Demonstrated experience managing a Firewall Team in a similar-sized organization. • Advanced experience in implementing perimeter and internal firewalls (physical and virtual). • Advanced experience in evaluating rules for maximum security and minimal redundancy. • Active DoD Top Secret security clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI; an active TS/SCI is preferred.
