Release Train Engineer (RTE) - Remote/ 20% Travel

Job Title: Release Train Engineer (RTE) 

Location: Remote/ 20% Travel to Chicago, IL/Indianapolis, IN/Portland, ME

Duration: 4 months+ contract

 

• Travel required: 20% (Chicago Office, or Client Site in Indianapolis IN or Portland ME)
• In-person ID verification requirement: contractor will be required to report to the nearest office on day 1 for in-person ID verification. There are no exceptions. The client does not provide any reimbursement for travel or parking to the office for ID verification.

Responsibilities:

The RTE ensures alignment with business objectives and swift resolution of impediments to foster an Agile mindset within the organization:

 

• Lead program-level agile delivery through PI Planning
• Dependency management, release coordination, risk resolution, and stakeholder engagement
• Ensure cross-team alignment
• Delivery predictability and successful business outcomes

 

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years RTE experience
• Insurance experience preferred
• Experience leading HR related calls
• PI planning and developing plans around looking at futures and delivery methods
• Scrum Master certification or any other HR related certifications
