Python/ETL Developer

 

 

The organization is seeking a skilled Python ETL Developer to join their data management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing data into a cloud platform from various internal and external sources, supporting existing processes, and ensuring efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading activities. They will collaborate with end users to analyze requirements, document business processes, and troubleshoot applications to maintain smooth operations.

Use Python to perform ETL/ELT tasks within a data-driven environment.

Source data into the cloud platform from diverse sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

Collaborate with end users to understand and analyze their data needs.

Document data and process models, learning business workflows to support ongoing operations.

Troubleshoot and maintain existing data applications.

Develop and implement robust, efficient ETL/ELT processes for large datasets.

Interact with clients and provide high-quality production support.

Report progress and issues to the Team Lead.

Proficiency in Python scripting with substantial experience working with large datasets.

Hands-on experience with Python data processing libraries.

Over 8 years of experience in Python ETL development.

Strong SQL skills and experience with reference Data Management systems.

Ability to develop reliable and scalable ETL/ELT processes.

Knowledge of data management solutions, with experience focusing on Python-based approaches.

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Ability to multi-task effectively and work within an international team environment.

Fluency in spoken and written English.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of cloud data platforms (experience with Dremio is a plus).

Experience with Power BI reporting.

Demonstrated analytical, conceptual, and judgmental skills.

Self-starter with initiative and flexibility.

Prior experience working in data management systems with a focus on Python solutions.
