Position Summary
We are seeking a Data Analyst / Business Analyst with strong SQL and Python skills and hands-on experience with data governance and data quality initiatives. This role will support the definition, development, and implementation of enterprise data quality rules within the Information Security Data (ISDAD) environment.
The position is part of a broader cybersecurity data initiative focused on building secure data platforms and supporting the Cybersecurity Data Lakehouse (CyberDW). The CyberDW initiative aims to centralize ISDAD data, improve data transparency, establish governance standards, and strengthen data lineage across critical security data sources.
The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with data owners, data stewards, governance leads, developers, business analysts, and CDAO stakeholders to define critical data elements (KDEs), develop data quality frameworks, validate data integrity, and support enterprise data governance practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with data owners, data stewards, and business stakeholders to identify Critical Data Elements (KDEs) and define data quality rules, metrics, and validation requirements.
- Develop and implement data quality rules to monitor, measure, and improve data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity across enterprise data platforms.
- Perform data analysis, profiling, validation, and reconciliation using SQL and Python to identify data issues and ensure compliance with established quality standards.
- Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to support QA and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
- Validate data quality results, investigate anomalies, and collaborate with technical teams to resolve data issues.
- Work with governance teams to support data lineage, metadata management, and data ownership processes.
- Track data quality rule coverage, effectiveness, and ongoing improvements.
- Collaborate with developers and platform teams to implement automated data validation and monitoring solutions.
- Strong experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or Data Quality Analyst within enterprise data environments.
- Advanced SQL skills with experience querying, analyzing, and validating large datasets.
- Python experience for data analysis, automation, and validation processes.
- Hands-on exposure to Data Governance, Data Quality Management, Data Lineage, and Metadata Management.
- Experience with data profiling and validation tools.
- Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) and reference data concepts.
- Experience working with business stakeholders to define data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Experience with Collibra Data Intelligence Platform (DIP) and Collibra Data Quality (CDQ) products.
- Experience implementing data quality rules using governance platforms or rule-based engines.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity, risk, compliance, or regulated data environments.
- Experience supporting enterprise data lake/lakehouse initiatives.
