Job Description
We are seeking a Manufacturing Process Improvement Engineer with 4–5 years of hands-on manufacturing experience to join our client''s team in Temple, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, process optimization, and root cause analysis. This role focuses on improving manufacturing processes, enhancing product quality, reducing waste, and increasing operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead and support Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S initiatives.
- Perform process optimization to improve productivity, quality, and cycle times.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Develop, maintain, and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to drive operational excellence.
- Monitor and analyze manufacturing KPIs including OEE, scrap rate, downtime, throughput, and yield.
- Support production troubleshooting and continuous improvement projects.
- Utilize data analysis to identify trends and recommend process enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and manufacturing standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor''s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 4–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience in Manufacturing Process Improvement and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Hands-on knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S methodologies.
- Experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CAPA, and process optimization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional manufacturing environment.
Preferred Industry Experience
