The State of Michigan is looking for an IT Security Analyst 2
Max Bill Rate: $50/hr C2CPrevious State Experience in Mandate
Locals only

Pre-screening questions are attached and must be completed by the candidate and included with their submission.
A standard cover letter summarizing the candidate''s qualifications and experience as they relate to the position requirements is required and must be attached to all submissions (there is no template for the cover letter). Please note, this is separate from the coversheet required for all postings; you must attach both for this posting.
Top Skills & Years of Experience:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field (NIST, SSP, GRC, etc.)
- Experience with Keylight is a plus
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Candidates MUST have either a bachelor''s degree or higher specific to IT or a Cyber Security certification. You must attach a copy of the candidate''s official transcripts or the Cyber Security certificate. This is required.
Clear and concise written and verbal communication is crucial to success and productivity in this role.
- Will close submissions on: 8/11 at 10am EST
- Interview Process: Virtual Interview via MS Teams video. Please use laptop and be prepared to share screen if asked. It is possible that 2nd round interviews may be held in-person. Candidates MUST be available for an in-person interview.
- Duration: 1 year with possible extension
- Hybrid: Resource will be working a hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are required onsite days.
- Local candidates ONLY. Candidate must be located within 100 miles of Lansing, MI at time of submission.
