Title: Security Engineering Manager (SRE/DevSecOps)
Location: Bay Lake FL 32830
Contract: W2 only, 22 month contract with potential for extension or conversion to full time with the client
Pay: $ 70/hour + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match
Overview
The Security Site Reliability Engineering team supports more than 4,000 teams worldwide supporting new product launches, brand announcements, key events, and ongoing Security initiatives. You will work closely with Global Information Security teams to ensure compliance with corporate standards, fulfillment of audit requests, and alignment to enterprise security standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a DevSecOps culture among peers and developers
- Design, build, and support security policies
- Consult, design, build, and support development pipelines
- Automate infrastructure and operations
- Create telemetry for monitoring
- Engineer high reliability and reinforce best practices to secure company data
- Support web application firewall technologies and web security solutions
- Utilize source control management with Git
- Provide expertise across systems, networking, operational excellence, application stability, security, performance, and capacity management
- Maintain technical documentation
- Stay current with emerging technologies
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of related work experience
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Understanding of observability principles and related tooling
- Hands-on experience with CI tools such as GitLab, AWS CodeBuild, or Azure DevOps
- Experience with configuration management tools including Terraform, Ansible, and Chef
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, Perl, Ruby, Java, Go, Rust, or C/C++
- Experience supporting cloud environments including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experience building reliable and scalable enterprise systems
- Ability to identify root causes in large-scale distributed systems
- Strong UNIX/Linux administration, troubleshooting, and security experience
- Experience leading technical projects and delivery efforts
- Experience partnering with Security Operations teams
- Strong troubleshooting skills across systems, networking, and application code
- Experience with Akamai or similar CDN and security solutions
Required Education
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, a comparable field of study, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting high-demand releases and major brands
- PCI audit and standards experience
