Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IBM Sterling OMS Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and enhancement of enterprise Order Management solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in IBM Sterling OMS, modern integration architectures, AWS cloud technologies, and retail order management processes. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, product teams, and technical teams to deliver scalable omnichannel order management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
IBM Sterling OMS
- Design, configure, and implement IBM Sterling OMS solutions.
- Support end-to-end Order Management lifecycle, including order orchestration and fulfillment.
- Enhance and optimize OMS capabilities for enterprise retail operations.
- Configure business rules, order workflows, and fulfillment processes.
Integration & Architecture
- Design and implement API-based integrations with enterprise applications.
- Develop scalable microservices-based integration solutions.
- Support enterprise integration using modern middleware and integration patterns.
- Collaborate with cloud and application teams to deliver highly available solutions.
Cloud & Delivery
- Support IBM Sterling OMS deployments in AWS cloud environments.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD implementation and deployment automation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release planning.
Retail & Supply Chain
- Support omnichannel commerce initiatives.
- Improve inventory visibility and order fulfillment processes.
- Collaborate with business teams to optimize customer order experience.
- Define technology roadmaps and strategic OMS initiatives.

Required Experience
- 8+ years of IT experience (recommended 8–12 years).
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM Sterling OMS implementation, configuration, and support.
- Experience with API integrations, Microservices Architecture, AWS Cloud, and Agile delivery.
- Strong understanding of Retail, Omnichannel Commerce, and Order Management processes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
Important Notes
- W2 Only
- Hybrid role based in Seattle, WA
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM Sterling OMS is mandatory.
- Experience in Retail, Omnichannel Commerce, or Supply Chain is highly preferred.
