Job Description
A leading global consulting firm is launching a new Deal Strategy team and is seeking high-calibre professionals to play a key role in building and scaling the practice. This is a unique opportunity to join at an early stage and help shape the team's proposition, culture, and market presence.
The role will focus primarily on Commercial Due Diligence (CDD) engagements for private equity and corporate clients, complemented by broader strategy work including growth strategy, market entry, value creation, and portfolio strategy. Engagements will be UK-led with regular exposure to the Nordics and wider European markets.
Sector Focus:
Technology, Media, and Digital Infrastructure, including software, platforms, data, telecoms, data centres, fibre, and digital services.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and deliver end-to-end CDD engagements across buy-side and sell-side transactions
Drive market, customer, and competitive analysis to support investment decisions
Deliver high-impact strategy projects beyond CDD, including growth, expansion, and value creation plans
Manage and develop project teams, ensuring high-quality outputs and timelines
Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, including investors and C-suite executives
Contribute to business development, proposal writing, and go-to-market initiatives
Support the build-out of the Deal Strategy team, including mentoring, recruiting, and knowledge development
Collaborate with colleagues across Europe on cross-border engagements
Candidate Profile
Experience in top-tier strategy consulting, deal advisory, or specialist CDD teams
Strong track record delivering Commercial Due Diligence engagements
Deep interest or experience in Technology, Media, and/or Digital Infrastructure sectors
Strong analytical capability combined with clear, concise communication
Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple workstreams
Entrepreneurial mindset with an appetite to help build a new offering
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment
Willingness to travel across the UK and Europe as required
What's on Offer
Opportunity to join a newly formed, high-growth Deal Strategy team
Exposure to high-profile transactions and strategic assignments
Significant responsibility and visibility within a global consulting firm
Clear progression opportunities as the practice scales
Competitive compensation and benefits package
International project exposure across the UK, Nordics, and Europe
