Java Backend Developer @ New York, NY

Introduction:

Our client is seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer with strong database skills, cloud infrastructure knowledge, Kubernetes experience, DevOps expertise, CI/CD proficiency, JVM understanding, Scala proficiency, and Big Data Hadoop skills. The ideal candidate will be based in New York, NY and will be responsible for developing and maintaining the backend systems of our client''s projects.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java backend systems
• Work with databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval
• Utilize cloud infrastructure to deploy and scale backend systems
• Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration
• Collaborate with DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of backend systems
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
• Utilize JVM for efficient Java application performance
• Utilize Scala for functional programming within backend systems
• Work with Big Data Hadoop for large-scale data processing and analysis

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Java programming
• Experience with Git, GitHub, and version control
• Knowledge of JVM for efficient Java application performance
• Experience with Scala for functional programming
• Understanding of Big Data Hadoop for large-scale data processing
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools

Preferred Skills:
