Private Healthcare, Pension, 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays An established construction business, part of a larger group operating across multiple sectors, is looking to appoint a young, ambitious and hardworking Project Manager to join their growing construction team.
The business operates as a Design & Build contractor and has a strong reputation for delivering quality construction projects across a range of sectors. The construction arm works across both commercial and residential projects, with a varied workload including fit out, refurb, extensions, cut & carve and internal demolition.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Intermediate Project Manager who is looking to take the next step in their career within an established and growing business. The role offers exposure to a varied range of projects, with the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility and develop alongside an experienced team.
The business has a collaborative and practical approach, giving Project Managers the support and autonomy to manage their projects while working within established systems and processes. The Role As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and successful delivery of your allocated projects.
Depending on the size and complexity of the workload, you will either manage a larger project from site or oversee multiple smaller projects while working between the office and sites. Responsibilities will include:
Managing projects from pre-construction through to completion<br />Taking responsibility for project programmes, costs and delivery<br />Coordinating subcontractors, consultants, clients and other project stakeholders<br />Overseeing site activity and ensuring projects are delivered safely and to the required quality standards<br />Managing project documentation, reporting and commercial information<br />Maintaining strong relationships with clients and keeping them informed of project progress<br />Carrying out regular site visits and working closely with site teams<br />Supporting the procurement and appointment of subcontractors<br />Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budgetRequirements Proven experience as a Project Manager within construction<br />Experience delivering commercial and/or residential projects<br />Experience across fit out, refurb, extensions, cut & carve and internal demolition<br />BSc in Project Management preferred, with HND/NDC considered<br />CSCS and SMSTS required
