The Role

• Measure and record patient vital signs, and document patient interviews and medical history.
• Prepare patients for examinations, conduct routine screening tests, and assist physicians with exams.
• Perform non-critical medical and therapeutic procedures, collect specimens, and perform basic waived lab tests.
• Administer medications, change dressings, apply bandages, and perform other first aid procedures under physician supervision.
• Maintain supplies, equipment, stock, and sterilize instruments, adhering to OSHA safety standards.
• Provide health coaching to patients, supporting healthy lifestyle choices and following up via weekly calls.

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent education (GED).
• Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable healthcare vocational training.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, or similar role.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
