Job Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer IV to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in systems software, databases, and SDLC execution and a proven ability to design, develop, secure, and optimize enterprise software and database platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Review and approve modifications to existing databases and database management systems.


• Instruct staff to write and code logical and physical database descriptions and define identifiers for management systems.


• Direct database development and approve project scope and limitations.


• Review project requests, estimate time and cost, and align deliverables to user needs.


• Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard information against unauthorized access or disclosure.


• Approve, schedule, plan, and supervise installation and testing of new products and system improvements.


• Develop standards and guidelines for software use, acquisition, and protection of sensitive information.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in SQL and systems-related development tools such as Visual Basic or similar technologies.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.


• Effective verbal and written communication with customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently, manage time, and mentor team members.


• Knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and software engineering principles across the full SDLC.


• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with enterprise database security and governance practices.


• Background in designing and testing operating systems-level or network distribution software.
