Job Description

Technical Lead - Java, AWS, Architecture, Fintech, Banking, Payments, Savings London | Hybrid | £110k-£140k + Bonus + Equity

Technical Lead sought by leading Fintech organisation based in central London.

* Proven experience as a Tech Lead, Lead Engineer, Staff Engineer or Engineering Manager

* Deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot

* Strong AWS and distributed systems knowledge

* Experience building and operating high-volume platforms

* Track record of mentoring engineers and leading technical decisions

* Strong product mindset with the ability to balance customer value and technical quality

* Fintech, banking, payments, savings, wealth, digital experience

* Knowledge of regulated environments

* Experience implementing AI developer tooling

This is a hands-on leadership role combining technical strategy, architecture, engineering leadership and product partnership.
