As a Litigation Attorney, you’ll take ownership of a personal injury caseload through final resolution, develop and execute litigation strategy, advocate for clients throughout the legal process, and work closely with an experienced team of attorneys and legal professionals. Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage a busy personal injury caseload through final resolution, including settlement, mediation, arbitration, or trial.
  • Conduct regular case reviews and communicate with clients regarding case status, strategy, and the legal process.
  • Handle all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, court appearances, and trial preparation.
  • Develop litigation strategy and identify appropriate next steps based on the facts, procedural posture, and circumstances of each case.
  • Coordinate, retain, and communicate with medical and liability experts as needed throughout the litigation process.
  • Attend remote and in-person court hearings, conferences, pretrial conferences, and other court proceedings.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, and other team members to effectively manage and advance cases.

Experience:

  • 2+ years of personal injury or other relevant litigation experience, including defense litigation experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in discovery, motion practice, depositions, and courtroom advocacy.
  • Strong research, writing, communication, and client-service skills.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to effectively manage a busy litigation caseload.
  • Strong judgment and ability to evaluate case issues, develop litigation strategy, and effectively advocate for clients.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Jury trial experience is a strong plus.

Compensation:

  • Salary Range: $125,000–$175,000, depending on experience.
  • Additional Compensation: You will be eligible for performance-based bonuses and salary increases with no ceiling—and no billable-hour requirement. You will also receive one-third of the total fee collected on any cases you refer directly to the firm.
